We spotted some great hairstyles at Paris Fashion Week recently. Take, for example, this bubble ponytailas seen at the Valentino Autumn-Winter '14 show.
What is it?
A bubble ponytail is actually much less 'out there' than it sounds. At the Valentino show, the models wore their hair in low ponytails which were then bound all the way down with several black hair bands, spaced several inches apart.
We don't know about you, but we certainly rocked this style back in our childhood days. It was a great way to show off our collection of sparkly hairbands! This is a great alternative to a braid. Just be sure to use black or clear hairbands to give the style a grown up, fashionable edge.

Get the look
This hairstyle is easy as pie to recreate. Just make sure you have a handful of black hair elastics and you're good to go.
Step one
After washing your hair, comb it through and apply some straightening cream.

Step three
Blow-dry your hair or leave it to air dry if you have time.
Step four
Straighten your hair afterwards if necessary but don't worry about making it too perfect as you'll only be pulling it back tight anyway.
Step five
Create a centre parting with a tail comb and pull the hair back into a low ponytail. Take another hair tie and fasten it around the ponytail a little further down than the first one. Repeat, working your way down the ponytail until you reach the bottom. The size of the gaps depends on how long your hair is and how many bubbles you want!
Step six
Once you've tied the last band round your pony, pull a few strands loose at the front of your hair and spritz with some hairspray for long-lasting hold.
There you have it, a super on-trend hairdo, fresh off the runway at Paris Fashion Week. Stay tuned for morehairstyle tutorials!
