Denim is, perhaps, your wardrobe's most versatile style staple. You can dress it up or down, wear it to the office, wear it for date night -- wear it just about anywhere. So, for fall, why not expand your collection with a few celeb-inspired denim trends? LOFT style director Amanda Kramer gives USA TODAY the scoop on how to wear the latest looks.

Gabrielle Union: Structured wrap dress

Is your office a no-jeans zone? No worries, because you can still get your denim fix in other ways. "Gabrielle's dressed-up denim works thanks to its slight sheen, tailored collar and wrap yellow bridesmaid dresses australia waist definition," Kramer says. "It's the perfect one-and-done. This is literally the perfect dress for any body type. If you’re already curvy, the self tie (waist) helps to show off your curves. Curve-free? Simply cinch at your natural waist to create the illusion of fit-and-flare."

Hello, ladies!

Jada Pinkett Smith: Deepest, darkest blue

The Gotham star pulls off formal denim with ease, thanks to the cut and stylish blue-black wash of her straight-leg jeans. "Jada's dark skinnies, pointed pumps and cropped bomber are the epitome of easy evening chic," Kramer explains. "And, if you’re slim-hipped and petite like Jada, follow her lead and pick an ankle-length, body-con style. You create shape and a look that’s perfectly tailored for your frame."

Zendaya: Distressed and baggy

"She's definitely pulling a lot off, which she can do," Kramer says of the fashion-forward teen. "If you want to chic it up and tone it down for the office, wear a black pump with a blazer, but add that pop of accessory. Also, I love distressed denim with a strappy sandal. She's showing the weekend way to wear it, but distressed with a button-down is super chic."

Jennifer Lopez: Skinny flares

Yes, that '70s staple is making a comeback, thanks, in part, to Ms. Lopez. "She's the queen of everything. If there's anyone to prove the flare is back, when (women) see it on J.Lo, they're going to want to do it," Kramer predicts. "Maybe you don't have the abs, but you can take the flare and make it your own. We have them in faded blue and a rinse at Loft. It elongates and it's slimming."

Kristen Stewart: Boxy chambray shirt

Chambray has become an everyday staple in plenty of women's wardrobes, Kramer says, but Stewart wears hers with a twist. "What this look proves is you can wear chambray with an edge and you don't have to keep things basic. I love what she did with the high-low hem; it's all about proportion. She has the utilitarian chic look going and I love that she paired it with a brogue. What she did is stay true to herself."

Amal Clooney: Black and ripped

There's nothing more tried-and-true than a pair of perfectly broken-in, strategically ripped black skinnies, Kramer says. "The biggest bonus about black jeans is versatility. You can dress it up and go super chic and monochromatic. Give it some edge. What Amal did -- and what I want to show clients -- is that offsetting it with a paler tone looks unexpected, but looks really new and has a refinement."
