Bronte Bateup

Age: 21.

Suburb: Buderim.

Occupation: Fashion design student.

Style: Boho chic, elegant, monochrome and playful.

Favourite label or store: My wardrobe is a mix of designer brands, commercial brands and op shop clothes. I think it's important to look for pieces that suit your personal style more than just following one brand. Cameo, Finders Keepers, Keepsake the Label and Bec and Bridge have always been some of my go-to labels for great pieces.

Style icon: Hmm. This is hard. I'm a big fan of Amanda Shadforth's personal style and aesthetic but also Nadia Bartel and Nadia Fairfax, just to name a few. It's so hard to pick one.

Favourite outfit: Whether I'm off to work, having lunch with friends or going out for the night, my black and white kaftan top is always a winner - a great piece I can wear and accessorise many different ways.

Most treasured wardrobe item: Definitely my long, open kimono. Perfect to wear over togs to the beach or dress it up with a black turtle neck and tailored shorts. There are endless ways to wear it.

Style tip: It can be fun to follow trends but always try to incorporate you're own style into it.

Favourite Outfit: A Gorman skirt.

Most treasured wardrobe item: My favourite green suede high heels. They don't get out much but I just adore them.

Pia de Pasquale

Age: Undisclosed.

Suburb: Mooloolaba.

Occupation: Pilates instructor and health lifestyle manager. Former beauty salon owner.

Style: Well, my hairdresser just called me "glamorous". I personally think classy, well-groomed and stylish without a hair out of place! Manicure and pedicure - perfect shellac.

Favourite label or store: Sass and Bide, Karl Lagerfeld.

Style icon: Heidi Klum.

Favourite outfit: Sequin long gown Oscar-style.

Most treasured wardrobe item: My Chanel vintage handbag.

Style tip: Dress for your body shape not what is trending at the moment. Ask for advice from stylists and check sites like Sunshine Coast Fashion.

Stephanie Vanneste

Age: 28.

Suburb: Buderim.

Occupation: Sunshine Coast fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger at therawedit.com.

Style: Probably feminine edge. I love mixing really feminine pieces, so like a pretty white lace frock and pairing it with a leather moto jacket.

Favourite label or store: Diane Von Furstenberg.

Style icon: Hands down Olivia Palermo.

Favourite outfit: Definitely a dress. And anything from a casual wrap dress to a feminine tailored dress. Feel like a woman, wear a dress.

Most treasured wardrobe item: My Valentino Rockstud pumps.

Style tip: You can rock anything as long as you wear it with confidence.

Ellen Robbins

Age: 23.

Suburb: Noosaville.

Occupation: Hairdresser, Lustre the Colour Studio.

Style: I am a designer-fiend - Australian designers. My style would be edgy-modern.

Favourite label or store: Zimmerman, Scanlan Theodore, seed, Chloe.

Style icon: Rosie Huntington Whitely and Olivia Palermo.

Favourite outfit: Obsessed with anything from the latest Zimmerman NY fashion show.

Most treasured wardrobe item: Black lace Scanlan Theodore cocktail dress. It's my lucky dress.

Style tip: Understated, neutral. I don't own any colour. I've learnt the hard way by buying colours that are out after one season.

Kiara Duke

Age: 21.

Suburb: Nambour West.

Occupation: Business student/sales assistant at Dissh Boutique.

Style: "Where did you get that?" style.

Favourite label or store: A small, up-and-coming Sunshine Coast designer Danica Renee and her label The Other Side. I think her minimal, celestrial-inspired line really embodies the young dreamers and creatives that are popping up all over the Sunshine Coast.

Style icon: Jess and Stef of How Two Live.

Favourite outfit: Go-to for winter are my $3 op-shopped high-waisted Wrangler jeans, a high-neck black crop and Jorge ivory cape.

Most treasured wardrobe item: A floral halter-neck top with hand-stitched two-tone sequins from a market in Thailand. The beautiful woman who made it also tried to sell me a date with her son.

Style tip: Think of style like you would a tattoo. If you like it enough to wear it on your body every day, who cares if other people can't make sense of it. Just be memorable.

Amanda Rootsey

Age: 30.

Suburb: Eumundi.

Occupation: Founder Shine From Within, a deportment and personal development school.

Style: Eco and ethical fashion and simple style.

Favourite label or store: Sinerji.

Style icon: Stella McCartney.

Favourite outfit: Op shop blazer, white tee and jeans.

Most treasured wardrobe item: A frilled top from a flea market in Florence, Italy.

Style tip: It's a bit of a "nerdy" tip but consider the story of the garment - where it came from, who made it and the impact it's production had on others and the environment.

Grant Smith

Age: 28.

Suburb: Buderim.

Occupation: Real estate director, Century 21 Grant Smith Property.

Style: Unique tailored resort style.

Favourite label or store: Louis Vuitton Gold Coast or David Jones, Queens Plaza, Brisbane.

Style Icon: Louis Vuitton.

Favourite outfit: Bow tie and pocket square. Big fan of a coloured shirt and white chinos; lots of colour.

Most treasured wardrobe item: Louis Vuitton cup watch.

Style tip: Always wear one item that pops, be it your shoes, tie, bow tie - just one thing that is a feature. It is a great conversation starter.

Blair McGuinness

Age: 21.

Suburb: Buderim.

Occupation: Automotive parts.

Style: Tailored.

Favourite label or store: Pistols at Dawn.

Style: Riccardo Tisci, creative director, Givenchy.

Favourite outfit: Suit… always a suit. Crisp white shirts, a well-tailored jacket, Oxfords and a funky pocket square to top it off.

Most treasured wardrobe item: I would say one of my watches. I have 14 at the moment and a great timepiece tops off a good outfit.

Style tip: Dress for yourself. I love the way a great suit makes you feel. It gives you confidence and changes your persona. Step out in an outfit that you love and people will be able see that through the outfit. Always be overdressed, not underdressed.
