It was the most glamorous night of the year for the British stars vying for the top prizes at the National TV awards 2014.

And while Ant and Dec, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, and the staff and students of Educating Yorkshire were among the big winners on the night, there were hits and misses on the all important red carpet, as celebrities flashed the flesh, narrowly avoided wardrobe malfunctions and just got it plain wrong on the night.

We take a look at the stars who rocked it on the red carpet and those who sported frock horrors and sartorial shockers in IBT Times best and worst dressed of the NTA's.

1. Jacqueline Jossa

Eastenders actress Jacqueline Jossa was the belle of the ball in a semi-sheer nude gown, with detailed floral embellishments. Defying the cold January weather the actress looked radiant on the red carpet.

2. Abbey Clancy

Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancey rocked out in a striking red gown. With a high neck lane and the dress slashed to the thigh, the TV host looked stunning as she performed a choreographed dance sequence on the night.

3. Michelle Heaton

A very pregnant Michelle Heaton showed just how to dress up a baby bump. The Liberty X singer was glowing in baby pink with her bump swathed in delicate chiffon.

4. Amy Willerton

Jungle beauty and former beauty queen Amy Willerton looked positively regal in a high necked, nude gown with an intricate silver design on the bodice and a delicate, pleated skirt.

5. Rochelle Humes

The Saturdays singer looked picture perfect in a fitted lace, indigo dress, injecting some colour onto the red carpet that was dominated by black and white ensembles.
