One wedding and a baby girl and boy－best dress

Amid the sad celebrity split news this week, Spy has been pleased to hear happier news of weddings and babies.

Yesterday, 2012 Block NZ winner Ben Crawford and his gorgeous fiancee Kylie Leydon tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Mudbrick Restaurant and Vineyard on Waiheke Island.

It's been a whirlwind 18 months for the pair - they became engaged, built a house and are now married. The couple credit the experience of building and designing together as teaching each other more about one another.

Each week in the Herald on Sunday Crawford took us on the journey of their Castor Bay oasis through its construction. Before the nuptials, Crawford told Spyhe and Leydon could not wait for their big day.

In baby news, former Almighty Johnsons' star Jared Turner and ZM Afternoon co-host Jase Hawkins are proud parents of a girl and a boy respectively.

Turner said he and his wife Lissy were "over the moon with the arrival of our latest addition to the family, Indianna".

"I was there to catch our baby. Such a beautiful experience and an honour to be the first person to hold my child."

Indianna makes the couple's blended family a household of seven.

Hawkins told Spy he was proud of wife Louise and excited for his 2-year-old son Felix having a new brother, Hudson James.

"It's great to be a dad again. I'm so proud of Louie.

"She's an amazing mum and just looked so natural with him but, without doubt, the highlight has been seeing Felix meet his little brother.

"They hugged, he gave him a kiss on the head and a cheeky look that I could just tell meant 'we're going to have a lot of fun together turning dad's life upside down and keeping him awake'."
